How the calculator works
Player values use Trade Lab’s October 10 full PPR, 1QB redraft snapshot, scaled by 100 / 82.9 so Gibbs = 100. Values are estimates of trade value, not projected fantasy points. No dynasty age or draft picks are included.
The custom premium rewards the side receiving fewer players when its best player is a superstar (value ≥ 60) and is more valuable than the other side’s best player. Bonus = best player value × base premium × min(extra players, 3) × (best value / 100). At the default 15%, Gibbs gets +15 in a 2-for-1 and +30 in a 3-for-1. The premium is a transparent negotiating heuristic, not a sourced market measurement. Equal player counts and one-for-one trades get no bonus.
Optional roster adjustment subtracts your chosen waiver value from the larger package for each extra player. This represents the roster slots consumed and replacement players available to the manager acquiring the smaller package. Default is zero; set it only if that reflects your league. This adjustment and the premium are displayed separately.
The gap is receive score minus send score, divided by the larger score. Within 5% is close; 5–15% is a slight edge; beyond 15% is a strong edge. Compare lineup needs, bench space, availability and current injury news before accepting. This snapshot does not update automatically.
